Bluetoothd using 100% cpu on Slackware 12

Whenever I connect my bluetooth mouse, cpu usage jumps to 100%. I can kill bluetoothd to fix it but if the mouse disconnects, I have to restart rc.bluetooth to reconnect the mouse and then kill it again. Why is this happening?

UPDATE: fixed. it was a problem with my /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth.conf
