Cinnamon in Slackware64 & Wayland readiness?

Credit I believe to @willysr, Mate & Cinnamon packages are available for slackware64 on ftp.slackware.uk/csb. I have them for Slackware64-Current.

I grabbed them last night. I intend to install them, and have Cinnamon as one of the options available to me under SDDM. Can anyone see a problem with that?

One other thing: I believe Cinnamon-6.x is Wayland ready, sort of. Has anyone done it? How? Don't they need a separate server?

I made a liveslak of the cinnamon flavour, as well as Mint. I like the 4 separate X screenfuls that XFCE & Mint have, but I nevertheless was drawn towards Cinnamon. So this was largely to check how incompatible they are now, and it appears they are not.
Don't worry, there will be a full recent backup before I try anything. After all, what are backup disks for?
