Now that I have installed vlc-2.2.4-x86_64-1alien.txz
I've noticed that when I used PulseAudio Volume Control. That when I close VLC it does not get removed from PulseAudio Volume Control. see included Photo.
2. VLC sticks (too) it just freezes up
added Info PIDs are not dead when they should be. Closed out VLC via that little x in the title area.

pkill vlc and killall vlc don't kill any of them.
