Hoping this is just something simple. As the title suggests, I have no xfce entry in the kdm login screen dropdown session chooser menu.

I've run xwmconfig, and xfce shows up there ok, and if I choose it as default and then startx, I get to xfce. But I mostly run KDE and like to try other DE's every now and then. Have been reading lately about how light xfce is compared to kde, so thought I'd give it a go.

So anyone know where kdm keeps it's menu/chooser info. Looked in /etc/kde/kdm and none of the files there seem to have anything related to menu dropdown structure. I also have an entry for xinitrc.xfce in /etc/X11/xinit, which from googling is supposed to be automatically read by kdm, but obviously isn't being, so now a bit stuck and looking for ideas.
