I had the same issue too. I use several X sessions using Xming on Windows.
I have uninstalled all instances of parcellite to be able to at least have a "half wit" copy/paste.
In fact, parcellite in Xming sessions have occasionally been disturbing file copy/paste in Windows since at least OpenSuse 13.1, which is bad enough. But when there are at least one OpenSuse 13.2 X session on a Windows desktop, copy/paste becomes totally useless, if not to say dangerous.
I have seen race condition between two instances of OpenSuse 13.2 desktops in Xming, initiated by <COPY> in one of them, that has ended with one of the sessions being killed off after a long time of deadlock/freeze.
I have also had rather dangerous issues with interruptions in keyboard handling in since i started to use OpenSuse 13.2. Most annoying is it causing meta keys to hang in emacs running on OpenSuse 13.1, when there are OpenSuse 13.2 Xming sessions on the same Windows desktop.
All this disappear when removing all instances of parcellite.
"Someone has done a bo-bo".
So my advice is to uninstall all instances of parcellite.
Let the developer beg us for reinstalling it when the bugs are said to be fixed!
-
All these bugs stem from people playing around with things that used to work before.
"If it ain't broken - Don't fix it"!
But the reality is probably that these people try to solve a bug, (or introducing a feature that nobody wanted), while not realizing that their lack of skill at the same time introduces a bunch of new bugs.
In the current situation i guess that i am not the only one to simply resign and uninstall, instead of putting effort into reporting/fixing the bugs. I am not willing to put much effort into reporting/fixing bugs in code that soon will be over-washed with new bugs because so many people overestimate their programming skills and with energetic ambition try to change everything just to put their mark on it.
