ImageMagick composite command broken result

I want to watermark image using this command. Using opensuse 15.2. ImageMagick version 7.0.7-34
Code:
composite -verbose -watermark 30 -gravity SouthEast HDM_for_wm.png  tropical_bird.jpg  tropical_wm2.jpg
Result is not as expected.
I use image from here as the base:
https://www.freeimages.com/photo/tropical-bird-1390996

Please see attached images:
HDM_for_wm.png -> watermark
tropical_wm2.jpg -> result

Anybody have a clue?

I just use graphicsmagick that already installed in my opensuse to resolve the issue.
Code:
gm composite -verbose -watermark 30 -gravity SouthEast watermark.png source.jpg result.jpg
