Other german guy posted different comment
"Asks for CD 2, can install nothing"

I tested 10.0 thoroughly! Can't say I like it.
On my box:
* Sound problem with SB Live! 5.1 (doesn't store settings) no matter what architecture I choose.
* NovAPPShield is not present!
* Booting kernel only with irqpoll option
* Packages for mp3 support all messed up (however present)
* Impossible to customize Video Card via YaST
After testing it for two full days I came to conclusion that for my box the best SuSE is 9.1!
No wonder that especially 9.1 has been selected by Novell to be "Novell Linux Desktop"

This is exactly why they issued "OPENSUSE" Project. They don't care. They care but about their commercial products.

Haha. That is true.
But still, 9.3 had quite a lot of bugs. (Updates were provided though.)
My PC is running well with suse 10.0 RC1, so i infer that the final suse 10.0 must be ok with me.
I gonna install it soon, i have had the DVD with me, no need to pop in and pop out CDs.
Originally posted by TigerLinux Ok, my installation is >7GB, i chose all packages coz my HDD got 17GB allocated for suse, i will enjoy suse !
Happy for you! Check that your mp3 file are playable and movies with "divx" and "xvid" are too.

Next:
Disable your CD/DVD source media by clicking marking the source and clicking on "Enable or Disable" button.=>Finish
Next:
Go to "Software Management" and in Search field type "xine"
Update your xine-ui, kaffeine
=>search for xmms
Update
=>search for "w32codecs" "divx" and "xvid"
Mark them and install=>Finish
