With Linux Mint 20, the Mint dev team has decided to disable the snap support and block installation of Ubuntu snap packages by default. I did read the following quote within the article from Clem Lefebvre. The reasoning why Linux Mint 20 disabled the snap support and to block the installation of Ubuntu snap packages is interesting and further research is advisable. I will be reading Clem's Mint blog as suggested by the article.
