kernel issue - hoary will not boot

Hello, I recently did a fresh install of warty about two weeks ago, and have recently updated via apt-get to the hoary preview release.

Now, using the new kernel 2.6.10-5 my box freezes at "*starting ubuntu..."

It works fine with the previous kernel (2.6.8.1) unfortunatly It's so early in the boot process I can't find anything in logs.

Anyone else have this problem?
