Where are the modules?

Looking for a little guidance here. I decided to try building a machine from scratch and then load Ubuntu on it and see if I could reasonably replace my Win2k box.

So far so good but then I pulled the old microsolutions Parallel port CDRW out to see if I could get the linux box to recognise it. Checked out Microsolutions site and they said that bpck.o was part of the 2.6 kernel modules - well I can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Should be in /lib/modules/$KVERSION. You could try 'locate' if your db is up to date, or 'find' or whatever.
