Fresh Install of Manjaro No Sound

Hi:

Just did a fresh installation of Manjaro XFCE and it's running very well. I just don't have sound.

I opened the alsamixer and choose my sound card and unmuted the columns that were muted.I also checked all of the settings in pulseaudio and that checks out ok.

Here's some output to help you to help me.
Code:
~]$  cat /proc/asound/cards
 0 [SB             ]: HDA-Intel - HDA ATI SB
                      HDA ATI SB at 0xfe8f4000 irq 16
 1 [HDMI           ]: HDA-Intel - HDA ATI HDMI
                      HDA ATI HDMI at 0xfe99c000 irq 24
Code:
[~]$ cat /etc/os-release
NAME="Manjaro Linux"
ID=manjaro
PRETTY_NAME="Manjaro Linux"
ANSI_COLOR="1;32"
HOME_URL="https://www.manjaro.org/"
SUPPORT_URL="https://www.manjaro.org/"
BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.manjaro.org/"
 ~]$ uname -a
 4.14.60-1-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Aug 3 12:49:45 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux
How can I get the sound working?

Have sound now-

I went to Pulseaudio> Configuration> and switched the profile to 'Analog Stereo Duplex'-

Upon rebooting I didn't have sound again so I had to pull up Pulseaudio Volume Control again and change it back to Analog Stereo Duplex. For some reason it defaults to a setting that doesn't allow sound.

Is this how to make it permanent?

Well, I tried to make it permanent by editing the /etc/pulse/default.pa file and uncommenting the argument:
Code:
load-module module-switch-on-port-available
and rebooted. Upon a reboot I didn't have sound again and had to go back to the Pulseaudio Volume control and change it back to analog stereo duplex.

I had hoped that editing that file would of prevented pulseaudio from changing the output device completely.

I can live with it but if you know how to make this permanent kindly let me know:-

Thanks,
Ztcorcat:-
