Kernel updates 6.2.5,6.1.18 and 5.15.100 are now available at, https://www.kernel.org
Updates 6.2.4 and 6.1.17 were released several hours ago and replaced by 6.2.5 and 6.1.18, less than four hours later.

There is source for both 6.1.17 and 6.1.18 if anyone wants to look at it ...
Hint: 6.1.17 had two patches ...
In the meantime, Mika Westerberg has provided a patch where I can finally enable my Discrete Tbunderbolt 4 without having to wait 90-seconds for the Driver to time out ( woo hoo ! )
On to 6.1.18 for me ...

edit: Jonathan Corbet at LWN is a very reliable source of Kernel Development Info. He says that 6.2.4 and 6.1.17 reverted two problematic patches in 6.1.16
